Design Collective is a small, hands-on studio — which means the architect you meet is the architect who draws, details and walks the site with you.
Soumya leads every project personally, from the first sketch to the final styling. Her work draws on the warmth of natural materials — lime, stone, wood and clay — and on Chandigarh's own modernist legacy of clarity, proportion and light. The result is architecture and interiors that feel rooted, restrained and entirely your own.

Every project is different, but the questions we ask are always the same. These four ideas shape every drawing that leaves the studio.
We plan around Chandigarh's sun — where morning light lands, where afternoons need shade. Daylight is the first material we design with.
Lime, stone, timber and clay. Honest, tactile finishes — local where possible — that soften and improve with age.
Calm rooms come from good proportion, not decoration. We get the ratios right so a space feels complete before it's furnished.
